Other Side of the World

Covered in whip cream, the way that your smile beams,
Infectious with love.
You don’t have the answers, and seek out the treasures
And hold on tight just because.

And as fate would have it,
Our little habit,
Has turned into the kind of thing
That we’ve been dreaming of.

This music, this lighting, this impulse I’m fighting,
It moves me so much.
It’s hard to explain how my problems all drain
At your slightest touch.

So don’t you forget what you’ve taught me,
Burned inside me, lost just to
See your own inspired creation,
Running on the dream that I could really be loved.

You were the one who taught me, enticed me,
Capsized me, self indulged,
I’d like to divulge, this rational dream
Is just an illusion in the game of love.

So don’t you cry, my sexy babe
As you fly to the opposite side of the world.
Remember why a smile
Can’t be denied when you think about these words:

Because, though fate be crazy,
Our lives ain’t empty,
Cause we’ve got each other and
For now that’s enough.

Yeah, now that’s enough.
